You can configure your teams so that they only have visibility to specific activities. This is useful if you have larger teams, multiple regions, or business units that operate independently.

By default, all calls are available to all users across Modjo.

This article will cover the following:

How do you enable this feature for your organization?

⚠️ You must have an Admin or Manager role in Modjo

Go to Organization Settings > Advanced

Then you can activate the section "Restrict call access by teams".

Once activated you will be able to configure your teams to restrict their rights by clicking on EDIT.

How to configure restrictions for teams

By default, all teams can view calls from other teams.

Choose between 3 possible configurations in the team's settings :

  • Access to all calls (by default): recommended for transversal teams or senior management teams.

  • Access to calls from multiple teams: for example, BDR and AE teams want to access calls from both teams to follow their deals. Even maybe the AM team!

  • Access to calls from this team only: for example a talent acquisition team doesn't need access to other teams' calls.

How do the rules apply?

We will first focus on the team restriction. If we have 3 teams with visibility settings :

  • Team Marketing (Ⓜ️) has the setting "Access to all calls"

  • Team Account Executive (🅰️) has the setting "Access calls from this team"

  • Team BDR (🅱️) has the setting "Access calls from this team"

This is how we want to represent their access to the calls

What features are in scope for visibility rules?

Once enabled, the restriction is applied to all call access :

  • Home, Search and Explore, Library.

  • However access to analytics data and export are not impacted.

  • Settings page visibility and access are restricted by the user role management

Best,

The Modjo Team 🍍
