With Modjo, you can easily record and analyze not only virtual calls but also your in-person meetings with clients.
In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to record and manage your in-person meetings, ensuring you never miss any critical information.
1. Modjo Mobile App Version (currently in BETA)
A. Getting started
Download TestFlight (iOS) or open the Modjo download link on Android.
Install the Modjo app via TestFlight or the Play Store.
Follow the steps below to launch the Modjo app.
Open Modjo and sign in with your credentials.
Grant the required permissions (microphone, storage).
⚠️ If TestFlight asks for a code, close the app and tap the download link again.
B. Recording an in-person meeting
You need an internet connection at the start and end of the meeting.
If the connection is not stable enough to upload the recording, it will be stored locally on your phone and you will be able to upload it later.
Steps:
Start the recording: tap Play.
If you receive a call or play any audio, the recording will pause. Tap Play again to resume.
Fill in the meeting details:
People you met with
Type of meeting (based on your company’s configuration)
Host and colleagues who were present
Meeting title (can be edited)
Upload the meeting.

C. Listening to your recordings
All recordings are available from the web application:
https://app.modjo.ai/
Updates: Make sure to install the latest versions of the app as soon as they are available.
Known limitations:
If you receive a call or play any audio, the recording will pause. Tap Play again to continue.
2. Version on desktop or mobile browser
ℹ️ Please note:
The mobile version of the Modjo web app (when accessed via a browser) will soon be deprecated.
We recommend using the Modjo mobile app to record your in-person meetings going forward.
1. Start recording
Go to the Modjo web application, either on desktop or mobile.
Click on "Record" to start the audio recording.
💡 On mobile, you can also start from the Modjo calendar on your homepage, which will automatically fill in the meeting information.
Microphone: Grant access to your microphone if needed.
Red button: Click on the button to record your voice.

2. Manage recording
Pause/resume: Pause the recording and resume it at any time.
Automatic stop: Closing your computer will stop the recording. You'll be able to import the recording on your next connection to Modjo.
Warnings: An alert will appear after 2 hours of recording to check if you want to continue. If so, click on continue to resume the recording.

3. Upload recording
Finish: Click on "Stop" to save the recording.
Enter the customer's email or phone number.
Call Information: Review or complete the call details
The call title is automatically generated based on the client’s name, e.g., support@modjo.ai x Philippe Borg.
Optional: Add tags or specify other participants.
Click on Import to Modjo: Confirm to process and save the recording. (This may take a few minutes).
4. Access your recording
Notifications: You will be notified when the recording is ready, by webapp push notification and/or by email or Slack notifications (depending on your notifications preferences).
Access all your recordings through the Modjo application.
5. Important notes
Internet connection: A stable connection is required to start and download recordings.
Modjo license: This feature is available only to users with a license that includes recording capabilities.
Microphone access: Ensure microphone access is granted in your browser settings.
Troubleshooting
Recording issues: Ensure that your browser has microphone access enabled.
Slow downloads: Check that you have a stable internet connection.
Interrupted downloads: You can resume the download later through the Modjo web application.
