1. Purpose of Tags
Tags act as labels for your calls, helping you efficiently organize, filter, and analyze your team’s conversations.
They’re ideal for categorizing meeting types (like demos, discovery calls, follow-ups), tracking specific topics, or flagging important interactions.

2. Setting up Tags
💡 Only admins and managers can create and edit tags in your workspace.
A. Access workspace settings
Go to Workspace settings, open the tab Tags and choose from 3 powerful tagging methods:
Phone provider Tags:
Modjo automatically synchronizes call tags from compatible phone providers:
Aircall, Ringover, Salesloft, HubSpot telephony, Outreach, Talkdesk, and Dixa.
To activate automatic synchronization :
Ensure your phone provider integration is activated on Modjo
Click on "Import tags from phone providers" to begin importing
Provider Tag selection:
Customize which calls Modjo should automatically import by editing Provider Tags directly in the settings.
Two-way synchronization:
Modjo supports two-way tag synchronization for Aircall, HubSpot, Talkdesk, and Dixa. Any tags added in Modjo will reflect in your phone provider, and vice versa, for seamless integration.
B. Automatic Tags
Set up rules to automatically tag calls based on criteria :
Team(s)
Call title keywords
Current deal stage
Call provider
Call duration
Once a rule is created, calls matching these criteria will be instantly tagged with your chosen title and color.
💡 Users can still manually add these tags to their calls that don't match the auto-tagging rules.
C. Custom Tags
Create your own personalized tags for scenarios not covered by automatic rules.
Click "Add a Tag" to create a new custom tag
Customize tag visibility by associating them with specific teams
Save and publish the Tag

3. How to tag a call
Tags can be added or removed from both the call list and call details page:
Call list: Hover over a call in the list and click tag button to add or remove tags.
Call details page: Access the tag on the top right of the call player to add or remove tags.
💡 Assign multiple tags to a call for a more detailed categorization.
