🚨 Prerequisite:

You must have the Admin rights in both Microsoft Teams. If so, follow the steps described below:

⏱️ Duration time: 10' on average

💡For efficiency purposes, we advise to configure modjo's recorder.

Step 1: Enable Microsoft's integration in Modjo

  • In Modjo, go to Settings => Integrations

  • Find Microsoft Teams (deprecated) and click Connect

  • A form appears (scroll upwards if you don't see it).

  • Paste the Tenant ID you can retrieve in Your Azure Active Directory

  • Click on Link your account

Step 2: Ask your users to log in to Modjo using their Microsoft account while granting us the required accesses.

As explained above, Modjo needs users to individually grant access to their Microsoft account (both drive and calendar) in order for the integration to work properly.

  1. Every user with a licence must log in to Modjo and give us access to:

    1. His Calendar (in order for us to know which meeting to import while identifying the attendees of each meeting)

    2. His Drive (in order for us to download the meetings' recording and subsequently import them)

  2. To see which user has granted us the mandatory accesses, go to Settings => Integrations => Microsoft Teams

    Status' legend:

    • ✅ Green: User is both successfully connected and gave us access to his calendar & drive. Modjo will import his Microsoft Teams external meetings.

    • 🅧 Grey: User didn't login to Modjo yet thus not providing the required accesses. His Microsoft Teams external meetings won't be imported into Modjo.

    • ❌ Red: User skipped or refused to grant us the necessary accesses. As a result, his Microsoft Teams external meetings won't be imported into Modjo.

To figure this out, the user must follow these steps:

      • Go to Settings => Profile

      • Click on "Connect Google"

      • Grant us access to both the Calendar & Drive

Step 3 (Optional): Allow "user consent" for Modjo.

Depending on the settings applied by a given company, each user will require the consent of the Microsoft Administrator to connect for the first time to the platform.

If you want to avoid the admin's permission consent each time, you can enable the option to let the user consent for the application.

To do so:

  1. Sign in to the Azure portal as a Global Administrator.

  2. Select Azure Active Directory => Enterprise applications => Consent and permissions => User consent settings.

  3. Under User consent for applications, select Allow user consent for apps.

  4. Select Save

How does the integration work?

Microsoft Teams offers the option to automatically record your meetings created through outlook (Microsoft calendar). The pop-up below will be displayed at the very start of the meeting:

For your Teams meetings created though Google calendar, make sure to download our chrome extension and to enable the feature "Auto record for Microsoft Teams" (see screenshot below)

Once a recorded meeting ends (and after a certain delay), the latter is uploaded by Microsoft Teams right in the Host's recording folder.

Each and every hour, Modjo will automatically import the meetings present in the Teams' recording folder of the user if the latter granted access to it.

Thanks to the calendar invite, we'll manage to match meetings' attendees with CRM contacts whenever possible.

Each user must grant us access to:

  • His recording folder (in order for Modjo to download the recording)

  • His calendar (in order for Modjo to retrieve informations regards to the meetings' attendees)

💡Once the user gave us access to his Outlook calendar, we automatically enable the recording of his meetings (in order to import them).

If you're willing to disable this function:

    Go to Settings => Integrations
Click on the Microsoft Teams integration => untoggle the dedicated button

🚨The disablement of the auto-recording function isn't retroactive as we synchronize users' meetings for the 5 oncoming days i.e. say the function is turned-off on a Monday, if a meeting was already created on the last Friday, it will still be auto-recorded.

Congratulations! 🙌

Once you have completed these steps, your integration is turning active!

💡Good to know: calls are automatically imported every hour on average.
