Understand how to proceed when your organization has changed its CRM

🚨 IMPORTANT: If your organization has changed its CRM, you must proceed to a migration in Modjo too in order to keep your calls properly bound to your contacts, deals and accounts in the platform => Without this action, your existing calls will no longer be linked to your CRM.

Your company is switching to a new CRM? That's a big move!

As a reminder the CRM integrations allow you to:

  • Obtain contextual information related to your calls (contact's job title, deal amount, deal close date, etc.).

  • Enrich your CRM with logged calls data, notes, comments, etc.

  • Filter your calls based on CRM information (e.g. search for your calls related to a specific customer, deal stage, etc.

I. Prepare the migration

  1. Get in touch with your account manager. He will provide you an export (CSV) of your contacts, deals and accounts listed in your initial CRM linked to Modjo calls.

  2. Fulfill each line with the new CRM ID of your contacts, deals and accounts while providing:
-The instance URL if you were on Salesforce
-The tenant ID if you were on HubSpot

  3. Send us back the file

Good to know: Note that if a record is left without a new CRM ID in the CSV (meaning we don't have the mapping), the calls related to this record will no longer be linked to the CRM.

II. Connect your new CRM

Once the migration is ready, your account manager will book a short appointment with you in order to proceed to the CRM update. Here's the process:

  1. Modjo deletes your previous CRM integration and stop the automatic import of your calls.

  2. You can setup your new CRM integration => refer to your specific CRM documentation

  3. Modjo carries out the database migration (estimation time: 4h)

  4. Modjo imports your calls which took place during the migration process

✅ You're all set and can from now on use Modjo as before! 🥳
