Your CRM architecture may goes behind most common objects. That’s why with Modjo we allow you to populate fields in various objects to maximize AI CRM filling impact.
1. Prerequisites
You must be an Admin or Manager in Modjo.
AI Modjo must be activated for your organization.
Your organization must be integrated with Salesforce or HubSpot.
You need to have a role with editing access to your CRM for managing objects and / or object fields for which you want to leverage the AI CRM filling feature.
2. Filling a field in a custom object using AI CRM filling
During your template creation or edition process, you will have to choose which field you want to fill using the AI CRM filling (more general information on template setup here)
At this stage you can select an object either:
Among most common objects of your CRM (account, deal, contact and lead - the latter if your CRM is Salesforce)
Among other objects - either standards objects that aren’t account, deal, contact or lead or custom objects (let’s call them both “custom objects” for the rest of this article). You can add them by clicking on the “Add new object” button on the right
Hubspot specificity: the first time you will add a custom object, you will be guided in order to set the right authorization in Hubspot and allow Modjo to connect to your custom object.
Once you have clicked on this button, you will see a list of all your CRM objects and will be able to select the one you want to add.
💡 This means that to find the field you want to fill in your CRM object, you need to know to which CRM object the field is attached. The information can be provided by your Sales Ops or any other CRM owner within your organization.
Once you have selected this object, you will then need to select how it is related to one of your main objects (account, deal, contact and lead - the latter if your CRM is Salesforce).
If there is no relation between your additional CRM object and one of the main objects then Modjo won’t be able to fill fields in this object.
If this CRM object is linked to several of the main objects (account and contact in the example below) then you need to select the main object to which you want to attach it in order to know where to find it.
Detailed example: you choose the custom object Account Contact Relationship. It can be linked to Account or Contact. If you choose to link it through Account then to see the field filled for your custom object in your CRM you will need to access it from Account. On the contrary, if you go and see your custom object from your Contact page, the field won’t be filled since you chose to link it through Account.
When your object is added, it will appear as a new tab in the object list and you will be able to select the field you want to fill in this object like you would do for the main objects.
⚠️ In order to be able to fill information for a custom object, this object needs to have fields attached to it.
Once you have selected your field, you can proceed with the usual template setup flow.
