This article help you setup the right filters and save them in views.

Updated over a week ago

This article explains how to set up custom filters and save them as views in Modjo Deals, allowing you to quickly focus on the most important opportunities in your pipeline.

Why Use Filters and Views?

Instead of sifting through your entire pipeline, filters and views help you zero in on specific deals that require your attention. This saves you time and allows you to prioritize effectively.

You can use these filters to help you identify deals that:

  • Deals you need to pay attention to and invest time in to go deeper into details.

  • Deals you should not focus on because the deal is already way off track and is not a top priority.

  • Deals you should not invest time in because the deal is well-handled and does not need your help.

I. Filtering Your Deal List

Navigate to the Modjo Deals Page and use the following filters to refine your deal list:

  • Team(s): Focus on deals owned by specific teams within your organization.

  • User(s): View deals managed by specific sales representatives.

  • Deal Close Date: Isolate deals closing within a specific timeframe (e.g., this month, next quarter).

  • Deal Stage: Filter deals based on their current stage in the sales cycle (e.g., Discovery, Demo, Proposal).

  • Deal Type: Identify specific deal types, such as upsells, renewals, or new business.

  • Warnings: Surface deals flagged with Modjo Warnings, indicating potential risks or roadblocks. (Learn more: Deals Warning: spot your deals at risk)

  • Objections: Pinpoint deals associated with specific customer objections. (Learn more: Modjo Deals: enhance your power map with contact Objections & contact Roles)

Sorting Your Deals:

Click the arrows in the column headers to sort your deal list by:

  • Deal Amount: Prioritize your largest opportunities.

  • Close Date: Focus on deals closing soonest.

  • Next Meeting Date: Address deals requiring immediate action.

  • etc.

II. Saving time with custom views

Once you've applied your desired filters and sorting, save your criteria as a custom view for quick access in the future.

To create a new view:

  1. Apply your desired filters and sorting options.

  2. Click the "Save as a view" button.

  3. Name your view and click "Save."

Modifying Existing Views:

  1. Select the desired view from the dropdown menu.

  2. Make any necessary adjustments to the filters or sorting.

  3. Click "Save" to update the existing view or "Save as a new view" to create a separate view with the modifications.

By leveraging filters and custom views in Modjo Deals, you can streamline your workflow, prioritize effectively, and close more deals.
