Learn how to create and save custom filters to optimize your pipeline management in Modjo Deals.

Updated over 2 months ago

Custom filters and views in Modjo Deals help you focus on key opportunities in your pipeline. This article explains how to configure and save these filters, allowing you to save time and effectively prioritize your actions.

1. Benefits of filters and custom views

Instead of browsing your entire pipeline, filters and views enable you to focus on specific opportunities. This helps you identify high-potential opportunities that require immediate attention, or those that are being managed independently and effectively.

Filters help you to identify :

  • Deals you need to pay attention: spot opportunities requiring specific actions

  • Deals you should not focus on: identify opportunities that are distant from your objectives and can be deferred

  • Deals you should not invest time in: because the deal is well-handled and does not need your help.

2. Using filters to sort your opportunities

Navigate to the Modjo Deals Page and use the following filters to refine your deal list:

  • Team(s): Filter opportunities by teams within your organization.

  • User(s): Display opportunities managed by specific sales representatives.

  • Close Date: Isolate opportunities by a specific closing date. (e.g., this month, next quarter).

  • Deal Stage: Filter deals based on their current stage in the sales cycle (e.g., Discovery, Demo, Proposal).

  • Deal Type: Identify specific deal types, such as upsells, renewals, or new business.

  • Warnings: Identify opportunities flagged with potential risks or obstacles. (Learn more: Deals Warning: spot your deals at risk)

  • Objections: Filter by specific client objections. (Learn more: Objections & contact roles on deals

Sort your opportunities: filter your results by clicking on the column headers.

  • Amount: Prioritize the most significant opportunities

  • Close date: Highlight opportunities that are closing soon

  • Next meeting date: View opportunities that require immediate action

3. Creating and saving custom views

Save your filters and sorts as custom views for quick access in the future.

A. To create a new view:

  • Apply your desired filters and sorting options.

  • Click the "Save as a view" button.

  • Name your view and click "Save."

B. Modifying existing views:

  • Select the desired view from the dropdown menu.

  • Adjust the filters and sorting options as needed.

  • Click on “Save” or “Save as New View” to create a separate view with your changes.
