This article explains how to record in-person meetings with your clients.

In today's fast-paced business environment, capturing the details of every meeting is essential to ensure nothing gets overlooked. With Modjo, you can easily record and analyze not only virtual calls but also your in-person meetings with clients.

In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to record and manage your in-person meetings, ensuring you never miss any critical information.

1. Start Recording:

  • Go to the Modjo web application, either on desktop or mobile.

  • Click on "Record" to start the audio recording.

On mobile, you can also start from the Modjo calendar on your homepage, which will automatically pre-fill the meeting information.

  • Microphone: Grant access to your microphone if needed.

  • Red button: Click on the button to record your voice.

2. Manage Recording:

  • Pause/Resume: Pause the recording and resume it at any time.

  • Automatic Stop: Closing your computer will stop the recording. You'll be able to import the recording on your next connection to Modjo.

  • Warnings: An alert will appear after 2 hours of recording to check if you want to continue. If so, click on continue to resume the recording.

3. Upload Recording:

  • Finish: Click on "Stop" to save the recording.

  • Call information: Fill in or verify the details of the call (host, participants, timestamp).

Be specific when listing participants to ensure more accurate attribution of speakers.

  • Tags: Add tags to facilitate future searches.

  • Upload: Confirm to process and save the recording. (This may take a few minutes).

4. Access Your Recording:

  • Notifications: You will be notified when the recording is ready, by webapp push notification and/or by email or Slack notifications (depending on your notifications preferences).

  • Access all your recordings through the Modjo application.

Important Notes:

  • Internet Connection: A stable connection is required to start and download recordings.

  • Modjo License: This feature is available only to users with a license that includes recording capabilities.

  • Microphone Access: Ensure microphone access is granted in your browser settings.

Troubleshooting:

  • Recording issues: Ensure that your browser has microphone access enabled.

  • Slow downloads: Check that you have a stable internet connection.

  • Interrupted downloads: You can resume the download later through the Modjo web application.
