Collecting consent: User setup

Record explicit consent from meeting invitees before they join a meeting

Updated this week

This guide explains how end users can configure the consent collection feature in Modjo.

🚨 Please note: admin setup is required beforehand.

  • To understand how the feature works: see the dedicated article

  • For admin setup: see the dedicated guide

Step 1: Connect your calendar and give permissions to Modjo

In order to generate unique meeting rooms and redirect participants to the consent form, Modjo requires additional permissions to access your calendar.

To connect your calendar:

  • Go to Settings > Profile in Modjo.

  • Connect your calendar (Google or Outlook).

  • Accept the requested permissions when prompted by your calendar provider (Google or Outlook).

Step 2: Access your unique static consent link

  • Once your calendar is connected, you’ll find your unique static meeting link in your Modjo profile.

  • View your unique static meeting link

This link:

  • Redirects attendees to a consent form before they join the meeting.

  • Automatically creates a separate meeting room for each event (no overlap risk).

  • See Joining a Meeting section for more details.

Step 3: Create a test meeting in your calendar

  • Open your calendar (Google or Outlook).

  • Create a new meeting.

  • Select Modjo Meeting as your video conferencing provider.

  • Click Authorize and follow the steps to complete setup.

(Optional) Step 4: Set up your meeting scheduler

You can paste your static consent link as a custom location in your scheduling tools.
