Configure your Ring Central integration in order for your calls to be automatically imported into Modjo

🚨Prerequisite:

  • You must have the Admin rights in both Ring Central and Modjo. If you're aiming to create a service account for the integration of Modjo, you can create a specific role for it.

  • You must be a RingCentral MVP Premium or Ultimate subscriber.

⏱️ Duration time: 5' on average`

  • Go to Admin Portal => Users => Roles

  • Click on the New Roles button

  • Create a role with the permissions below

Step 1: Grant us access to RingCentral via OAuth

  • Log in Modjo

  • Go to Settings => Integrations

  • Click Connect below RingCentral logo

  • Click Authorize

Step 2: Bind Ring Central to Modjo

  • Once step 1 is achieved, you should be automatically redirected to Settings => Integrations

    • Below All integrations, you should see Ring Central. Click to expand the section.

    • Afterwards, in the User tab, bind each and every Modjo user to his Ring Central's user access. Good to know: you can use the Auto-match button to let Modjo link your users based on email matching.

    • Click Save

    • You're all set! ✅

Step 3: Enable Call Recording

  • Log in to the Ring Central Admin Portal

  • Go to Admin Portal => Phone System => Auto-Receptionist => General Settings => Call Recording.

  • Below Automatic Call Recording, toggle the switch to enable or disable the feature.

  • If you enabled the feature, click Yes on the confirmation tab.

  • Click Edit under Extensions to Record, select the extensions where the automatic call recording will be enabled

  • Click Save

*Note that we solely import calls containing interactions as an algorithm excludes voicemails and very short calls.
*If you wish to update the minimum call duration for import, get in touch with your Modjo contact.
