Amazon Connect x Service Cloud Voice

Configure your Amazon connect integration in order for your calls to be automatically imported into Modjo

Updated over a year ago

🚨Prerequisites:

  • You should use Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, running on Amazon Connect.

    • If your are directly using Amazon connect you are not in the right place

  • You should install the package AWSSCV-CTRLogger following the current documentation.

    • The aforementioned package is mandatory since it stores the Contact Trace Records (CTR) in a bucket where we can collect them.

How does it work?

Modjo will perform the mapping between the Modjo users and Amazon Connect agents.

Every hour, Modjo will look for any new object in your recording bucket.

  • For any new recording, we will match the corresponding CTR.

  • If the CTR matches the import criteria, we will import the call with the metadata from the CTR.

Step 1: Connect Modjo to your Amazon Connect

  • Copy the following infos (mandatory for step 2):

  1. Your Amazon region (ex: eu-west-2)

  2. Your Amazon connect instance ID

  3. Recordings:

    • recording bucket name

    • recording bucket prefix

  4. Contact to recording (CTR):

    • CTR bucket name (ex: awsscv-ctrl-logger-xxx)

  5. AWS credentials

    • AWS Access key & AWS Secret Key of a user with the following permissions:

      • s3:GetObject & s3:ListBucket on the 2 above-mentioned buckets (recordings & CTR)

      • connect:ListUsers & connect:DescribeUser for Amazon connect

Step 2: Connect Modjo to Amazon Connect

  • Log in => Modjo

  • Go to Settings > Integrations

  • Below Amazon Connect icon, click on Connect

  • Fill in the fields with the information requested above

  • Click on Save.

  • You're all set ✅!

Congratulations ! 🙌

Once you have completed these quick steps, your integration is active! Now, let’s try by making your first call.
