Set Up Automatic Import of Your Demodesk Calls into Modjo.

Prerequisites:

Before you begin, make sure you meet the following conditions:

  • You have admin rights in Modjo and Demodesk.

  • You are subscribed to the Demodesk Business plan.

If these conditions are met, you can proceed with the steps below.

⏱️ The setup takes approximately 5 minutes.

1. Obtain Your API Key

  • Contact your Modjo representative to obtain your API key.

  • In the meantime, ensure that users have the same email address in both Modjo and Demodesk so that recordings are assigned to the correct participants.

2. Set Up Demodesk

  • Contact the Demodesk team to activate the connection with Modjo.

  • Add the Modjo API key to Demodesk under Settings > Connections.

  • Activate the "Upload all recordings" button to send all your recordings to Modjo. If you’ve added an incorrect key, disconnect and reconnect the integration to fix it.

💡 By toggling the "Upload all recordings" button, you can choose whether or not your recordings are sent to Modjo.

3. Troubleshooting

Demodesk allows you to track the activity of the integration with Modjo via their Integrations Backlog page. If something isn’t working as expected, check this page.

To quickly identify issues related to Modjo, use the Service filter to display only Modjo errors.

Here are some possible reasons for an error message:

Modjo user not found: This means that the user's email in Demodesk does not match the email in Modjo, or the user does not have a Modjo account.
