First Modjo login

Guide to first-time Modjo connection.

Updated over 3 months ago

💡 This article is intended for admins.

Connection steps:

Here are the steps to assist a user during their first login to Modjo and the configuration of their access:

1. First login to Modjo

Your users have two options to log in to Modjo: via SSO (Google or Microsoft) or by using an email and password.

A. Log in via SSO (Google & Microsoft)

If a user chooses to log in via SSO (Single Sign-On), they will not need to create a specific password. Authentication will be done automatically using their Google or Microsoft account.

Steps:

  • Check the inbox: The user will receive a link for their first login to Modjo.

  • Click on the link: This link will redirect them to the Modjo login page.

  • Automatic login: The user will be authenticated directly with their Google or Microsoft account details.

Users will not be able to reset their password themselves with SSO. If they wish to create one later, they will need to contact Modjo support through the platform.

B. Login with email and password

For users who prefer to log in with an email and password, here’s what to do:

Steps:

  • Check the inbox: The user will receive a link for their first login to Modjo.

  • Click on the link: This link will redirect them to the password creation page.

  • Create a password: The user will choose a secure password that they will use for future logins. The password must contain at least 8 characters, 1 digit, 1 special character, 1 lowercase letter and 1 uppercase letter.

2. Access configuration and synchronization

Once connected to Modjo, users with a recording license must grant access to their calendar and/or emails, depending on the activated integrations, to ensure Modjo functions correctly.

A. Calendar synchronization

It is recommended to sync the calendar if the user uses video conferencing tools.

Refer to this article to learn about calendar integration.

B. Email synchronization

If the administrator has enabled email synchronization, refer to the dedicated article for more information.

Note: These settings can also be configured later by accessing the user's Modjo Profile.

💡 To check the users connected to a specific integration, go to the "Integrations" section and select the relevant integration. If a user's name is associated with an email address, it confirms they are properly connected. Otherwise, you can manually link the user.

To check the users who have granted access to their emails, go to the "Integrations" section. Select Google Meet or Microsoft Teams for calendar synchronization, and Gmail or Outlook for email synchronization.

By following these steps, you will be ready to fully leverage all the features offered by Modjo.
