My call wasn't imported

Understand why your call was not imported into Modjo.

Updated over a week ago

Directly bound to the phone providers' API, Modjo is fully compatible with many telephony systems. Once integrated, Modjo imports the audio from the telephony system itself.

Import criteria:

  • The Host of the meeting must have a recording license for their calls to be recorded and imported.
*if you're using Modjo's recorder, we only require one attendee to possess a recording license

  • The Modjo user must be linked to the Phone System (ex: The Modjo user is well-associated to his Zoom user access).

  • The call must be recorded in the telephony system itself (ex: for a Gmeet video call, make sure that the record of the file's meeting is in your Google drive).
*if you're using Modjo's recorder, this criteria doesn't apply

  • The call must be a real conversation (we have setup an algorithm excluding voicemails and very short calls (less than 2').
*you can change this setting by asking to your Modjo contact

  • Make sure that the call is not tagged with a tag that you chose not to be imported into Modjo (ex: If during the Modjo setup you decided not to import your Aircall calls tagged with the tag "Lost", then make sure that the missing call is not tagged with that very same tag).

  • Regarding video calls, make sure that at least one guest of the meeting has not declined the invitation while making sure that the meeting includes at least one attendee who is not from your company.

Indeed, Modjo excludes internal meetings by verifying that at least one attendee in your calendar invitation (or Zoom meeting) has not the same email domain as yours.

💡Good to know: For some Phone Providers (ex: Aircall), if the call was inbound and transferred to another user during the call, then you might check if the call was not already imported and associated to all the users who were present in the call.

If you carefully took the time to check out everything mentioned above but still have no explanation to the fact that your call isn't in Modjo, make sure to provide us the following elements:

  • Screenshot of both the call and its recording

  • Additional information related to the call:

    1. Link of the call

    2. Date and time of the call

    3. Name of the user who made the call

    4. (If applicable) Name of the meeting

Once we've gathered all these informations, we'll be able to investigate and come back to you with answers in no time! 😊
