Using Calendly with Modjo

Ensure your Calendly meetings integrate seamlessly with Modjo.

Updated this week

With Calendly, you can set up different types of events to define your meeting details, such as product demos, client calls, or office hours.

Modjo supports several Calendly event types, but specific configurations are required to ensure optimal integration.

Calendly event types

Calendly offers four main types of events:

  • One-on-One

  • Group

  • Round Robin

  • Collective

🚨 Important: Modjo can only associate meeting participants if their email addresses are included in the meeting invitation.

1. Calendly Event Types Supported by Modjo

A. Individual event types

  • One-on-Onem

    • A meeting between a Calendly host and one guest.

    • Compatibility with Modjo: ✅ Fully supported.

  • Group

    • A "one-to-many" meeting with one Calendly host and multiple guests.

    • Compatibility with Modjo: ✅ Supported, meaning your meeting will be imported.

🚨 However, as participants' email addresses are not included in the calendar invitation, Modjo cannot associate those participants with the meeting.

B. Multi-person event types

  • Round Robin

    • An individual event randomly assigned to a host based on their availability.

    • Compatibility with Modjo: ✅ Fully supported.

  • Collective

    • A meeting with multiple hosts and one guest, where hosts’ availabilities are combined to allow the guest to pick a common time slot.

    • Compatibility with Modjo: ✅ Fully supported.

2. Meeting import requirements

For meetings scheduled via Calendly to be successfully imported into Modjo, the following conditions must be met:

A. Recording license

  • The meeting host must have a recording license.

  • If you’re using the Modjo Recorder, at least one participant must have this license.

B. Calendar access

C. Call recording

  • The call must be recorded via the telephony system (e.g., for a GMeet meeting, the recording must be available in your Google Drive).

  • If you’re using the Modjo Recorder, this condition does not apply.

D. Call duration

  • The call must qualify as a valid conversation (minimum of 2 minutes).

    • 💡 This threshold can be adjusted by contacting your Account Manager.

E. External participants

  • Ensure that at least one guest has not declined the invitation, and that at least one participant is external to your company (i.e., with a different email domain).

    • 💡 Modjo automatically excludes internal meetings by verifying that at least one participant in the calendar or Zoom invitation does not share the same email domain as your organization.
