Email domains

Add email domains to the "Do not import calls" list to prevent your meetings from being imported into Modjo.

Updated over 4 months ago

I. What is it?

The "Do Not Record List" feature enables you to specify an email domain, preventing the calls importation of participants who possess email addresses within that domain.

Indeed, the meetings taking place between people with the email domain set in the "Do not import calls" list will be considered as internal calls and thus wonโ€™t be imported.

As a result:

  • The Modjo recorder won't be sent to your Gmeet & Microsoft Teams meetings (for recommended version of the integrations)

  • Your phone calls and videoconferences (including Gmeet & Microsoft Teams deprecated versions) won't be imported

  • No reminder email will be sent for such phone calls & videoconferences

II. Setup

๐Ÿšจ Prerequisite:

You must have the Admin/Manager rights in Modjo. If so, follow the quick and easy steps described below:

  • Go to Workspace settings

  • Click Advanced

  • Click on Edit

  • Add the email domain you wish to set to be considered as internal

๐Ÿ’กEach time we encounter a new email domain either when a new user gets created or an existing user changes his email, we will automatically add the email domain to the "Do not import calls" list.
=> An informative email will be subsequently sent to the admins

If you wish to remove the email domain from the list, simply click on the link "Update do not record list"

๐Ÿ’ก If you remove an email from the list, it can take up to 24 hours for us to impact all planned meetings.

III. Warning for widespread email domains
